A former coach house, founded in the 1830s and acquired by the current proprietor’s family over one hundred years ago in 1916
As in 1916, the pub’s ambience reeks of authenticity but nowadays its patrons include locals, tourists, golfers, musicians and surfers, a species unknown to Lahinch a century ago.
We pride ourselves in producing hearty and wholesome home cooked meals in a cosy, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, not forgetting a decent creamy pint and wide selection of beverages to suit what ails you.
Kenny's Bar loves a good session and aims to entertain with live music seven nights a week over the summer season. In 2015 we set up The White Horse Sessions, held every Tuesday night, over the summer season. Our aim here is to nurture original Irish and International artist and bands, of all genres and offer a space for artists to showcase their creative original material to a listening, appreciative audience. In 2018 Kenny’s Bar and The White Horse Sessions was proudly nominated for the IMRO Small Venue the Year Awards bringing original music to North Clare.
Kenny and Rhonda, the present proprietors, would like to thank everyone near and far for their continued custom and support over the years.
